We all went on a walk this morning and found a special leaf to bring back to class. We have all written a sentence or two describing our leaves and tomorrow, we are going to make these sentences into a class poem about leaves.
We cannot wait! We all enjoyed having a search for a leaf and also being silent for 10 seconds (yes, we were completely silent!) and listened to the sounds we could hear. We are learning to use all of our five senses to help us in our writing when we are describing something or how we are feeling.
